We offer traditional Tai Chi Chuan lessons taught in a friendly and informal setting. We run various classes throughout south London for all ages and abilities.
Wu family Tai Chi Chuan is a traditional Chinese martial art with a family lineage dating back one hundred and fifty years. Its origins lie in the Imperial court of China during the Ching dynasty.
Regular practice improves balance, flexibility and co-ordination and helps to develop core strength and power, a relaxed focused mind and a healthy resilient body.
We cover all aspects of traditional Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan training including the 108 standard hand form, chi gung/nei gung, push hands and martial applications.
We run regular drop-in classes, offer private one-on-one tuition and provide demo's, workshops and regular classes for secondary schools and colleges as well as organisations such as the NHS and Centrica.
We also teach in the healthcare sector with adaptable exercises for wheelchair users and the less mobile. We provide Tai Chi Therapy sessions for Fairlie Healthcare, as well as regular classes for Age UK Lewisham & Southwark.
