“...I fully applaud the work that So You Wanna Be In TV? is doing to help improve the skills of disadvantaged young people...which can help them to develop the self-belief to achieve a positive employment outcome.”
So You Wanna Be In TV? is an award winning London based, social enterprise for at risk, financially disadvantaged and diverse youth in London interested in a career in TV.
We address the lack of diversity in TV and youth unemployment through free employability skills and a unique partnership with the television industry.
So You Wanna Be In TV? was started in 2009 by social entrepreneur, Rioch Edwards-Brown after her son was shot and stabbed while in school. Rather than seek revenge, she decided to use her 16 years in TV to reach out to the community.
