The Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) was established in 1975 and is the representative body for 191 housing organisations in Scotland, including housing associations, housing co-operatives and Glasgow’s local housing organisations.

Housing associations in Scotland own and manage 47% of the country’s affordable social housing stock, which represents 279,144 homes across Scotland. The housing association sector in Scotland has an asset value base of £7.6 billion, concentrated in some of the poorest communities in our country.
