Our founder Ben, after living in Texas for a year, returned to London incredulous as to why the food of Mexico, so well represented across the US, had been so neglected in his home country. A series of chance meetings led him to head chef, Felipe Fuentes Cruz, who shared his passion for wonderful, fresh Mexican food. They opened our first restaurant on Goodge Street.
From the beginning, we have been dedicated to serving simple, fresh food that is both authentic and modern. Our menu is built around burritos and tacos but now includes antojitos (Mexican tapas), desserts and a range of fresh margaritas. Today, we have eight restaurants in Central London, with more openings planned for 2015.
