What do we do?
Assembly exists to transform the way data is used in education. We know that schools improve if they use data intelligently to inform decision-making. So we’re building a platform that helps schools to extend, aggregate and analyse their data.
Assembly is an edtech joint venture from Ark (a leading education charity, venture incubator and schools operator) and NEON (a foundation that creates transformational digital products for charities). Together we are creating a platform for the education sector that brings education information management into the 21st Century. Our platform will run in parallel with a school’s existing School Information System (SIS), and will host apps offering innovative additional functionality and high quality, visual data analysis.
Our development approach is agile, and our line management structure is pretty flat. We give people space to take initiative and propose new ideas and approaches - but at the same time there’s lots of cross-team collaboration.
We’re a non-profit, and so everyone at Assembly shares a common goal of helping schools to improve. We work hard and we care about the impact we have.
